This fortnight’s challenge at That Craft Place is Summer Colours. This grungy girl really struggled with this challenge! So, I cheated and used the summer atc I created for the latest swap over in TCP’s Natter page. (If you’re not a member of this fab group, I highly recommend joining.) My MIL helped me with the idea since even that was challenging for me!
So, I used crackle texture paste on one of TCP’s grey board atcs to create the sand at the bottom and stucco texture paste for the sea and sky. I painted with appropriate colours, including a touch of gold in the sand, trying hard to be uneven. I hate uneven! Hopefully, my clouds look a bit random. My friend, Mickie, recently told me that lots of people struggle with random and to do things in 3 for random. A formula for random! Woohoo! What I’ve been searching for! I drew the brolly (me! Who struggles with stick people!) and used silicon glue to give it some height.
Can’t wait to see your challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog.
