Something a little different from me today. I’m a new convert to the lushness that is DoCrafts. I bought the Christmas Goody Bag from That Craft Place and it had lots of decopage sheets with these fab Victorian images. If you know me, you know I’m so not a decopage person! What was I going to do with these? A pin where a person put a vintage image on an atc and light bulb moment!
I painted one of Lisa’s fab ticket atcs in gold, did the decopage part (next time I’m going to use silicone glue so that it’s a bit more dimensional), used the fab one-step crackle from DecoArts and burnt sepia on both the atc blank and the image, finally I put a coat of gloss varnish over everything. I also used beautiful ribbon from TCP…that damn Lisa has such great taste when it comes to ribbon and I think I own at least a metre of most of the ones in the shop! lol
By the way, there’s a new challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog…Anything goes with Kit and Clowder. You don’t have to colour, I promise! 😉
