I thought I had stopped making cards, but these decopage sheets from DoCrafts have really sparked a return of my cardmaking mojo. I bought this decopage image before falling in love DoCrafts because I just loved the image…it invokes that ache we all have for home, whatever that means to us, at this time of year. I also knew I’d use it for MIL’s card. Again it whipped together in mere moments…well, for me!
This is also the first card that I used the syringe that comes with Collall silicon glue…OMG! Where has it been all my life? lol Totally awesome and makes life so much easier.
Everything, ‘cept the card and ribbonis from DoCrafts. I do love this Victorian paper and am so glad I got 2 packs (bought the goody bag after getting indvidual items from the line). Even better, is they’re bringing out a similar line for Valentines. That will inspire to actually make some and might even get them posted in time for the day of love. Not likely, but one can dream! lol
Here’s the big pic for challenge purposes.
Of course, I bought everything from my favourite shop That Craft Place. This is a totally amazing shop with lovely owners that are the epitome of personal service. I’m lucky that they are my local craft shop, but they have a thriving online business that you’ll love if you’re not as fortunate as me to live nearby. The Facebook is great fun (lots of banter) and a place to get all kinds of answers and encouragement.
