Got Spoons?

Got MilkYears ago there was an ad campaign for milk that had the tag line, Got Milk? I’ve recently seen some really cool spoon assemblages. Being a spoonie myself, although with Fibromyalgia, rather than Lupus, they really spoke to me.  Heathfield High Street is lined with charity shops and recently I picked up some spoons whilst waiting for a prescription.  All of this waffle to explain where the inspiration for this fortnight’s dt project, TAGS, came from. (As a side note:  I hate making tags!  I love other people’s tags, but can’t seem to get them to work out for me!  Boo!)

This is basically the background is a repeat of what we did in Andy Skinner’s workshop.  Texture paste through a stencil (numbers from TCP), dry brushed with DecoArt Media Line acrylics, stamped with Crafter’s Companion texture stamps.  I used antiquing cremes in patina and white and a bit of magenta fluid acrylics on the spoon. The alphabet set that I used for the sentiment are in a lovely wood box from DoCrafts.  All products are available from the Lovely Lisa and Dashing Danny at That Craft Place.
